Hello! My name is Angela and welcome to il Regalo!
The story of il Regalo, while a new company, goes way back to my early childhood.
Born in small town Ontario, Canada, memories of bitter cold Christmases are filled with visions of white snow, kids tobogganing down the local hills and my mother preparing her homemade gift baskets to gift to our most loved ones.
My mother and father, both immigrants of the tiny island of Sao Miguel in the Azores of Portugal, took pride in the fruits of their labor: My mother in the kitchen and my father in the garden.
My first influencers.
In this modern, digital day, in a world rotating and changing as though it were in a state of fast-forward, it is my personal belief that the need and longing for personal connection, while absconding our very existence it seems, will forever be an essential key to personal, and communal growth.
It is the goal of il Regalo to keep it personal, intentional, purposeful and authentic. We believe that each and every one of us would love and prefer to give our gifts with thought and meaning, yet most of us live our lives in high speed and lack the time to do so.
